    You have to take your dog to the vet to be properly diagnosed. The vet will give your dog medicine if there is an ear infection.
    Trying to cure the “infection” without even knowing if it is in fact an infection or not can make the problem much worse…

    Your vet needs to see the dog. There are various types of ear problems, so knowing whether there really is an infection, and, if so, whether the problem is bacterial or fungal, is important

    If you really prefer remedies that are not allopathic, discuss that with the vet — some are very open to other methods. But trying something before having the dog examined is not a good idea.

    If there is any damage to the eardrum, you could do real harm. And, if whatever you try doesn’t help, it’s that much longer that your dog is in discomfort and possibly getting worse.
