Question: Do I have viginal yeast infection?
I am a 13 year old girl. and i got my period this year on January of 2009. I am not sure if i have vaginal yeast infection.
These are my symptoms:
The lips of my vagina and the part where my hair grows have been itching a llot lately.
And i used a mirror to see my vagiba to see if anything s wrong. and i dont know if this is normal or not but my vagina is red but i do not think it is swelling.
Also when i pee i do NOT have pain.
And i my discharge is not very smelly but a tiny bit ad sometimes no scent, But sometimes its white but not very thick.
And i am going for a check up at my family physician this thursday. So should i tell my doctor??

tell the physician when you go to check up. Vaginal yeast infections aren’t very hazardous and it won’t injured to move until thursday to have it checked.

It sounds like you have the beginning of a yeast infection. It is not something passed down from your parents. Women naturally have yeast, but sometimes it gets out of control. Tell your mom your symptoms and she may want your doctor to know and treat it or she may buy you something over the counter for it.
