I’m pretty old and I have never, ever heard of such a thing. The prescription is usually a cream applied internally to cure a yeast infection.

It depends on where you live.
The treatment does work, however MEDCs (eg.England) have better solutions to cure it, which doesn’t involve sticking wax eggs up your vagina.

Usually they make creams for you too rub in.

Sometimes you can treat a yeast infection with over the counter meds that look like wax eggs. They actually contain an antifungal medicine that is released over time. They are alot smaller that real eggs. Maybe just a little but bigger than a jelly bean. And you insert it yourself at home. It’s really not that uncomfortable. Just like you would insert a tampon. Hope this helps your curiosity!
