this will help to increase the good bacteria in your body. Try acidophilus bifidus/regularis or L casei imunitas. The health food market offers capsules, drinks, powder etc. This can work wonders for your body.

Sure – keep off all SUGAR, even fruit, eat plain, I said plain, Yogurt, in the morning first thing, and at night before retiring. You can eat lots of salady things, tomatoes are a fruit, but are not sweet, cucumbers, avocados, steamed vegetables, brown rice steamed, fish, lamb, beef in moderation, one or two eggs weekly. German type dark brown bread. No sugar in foods, cookies, cakes, pies, jams, or in your beverages. Drink lots of water, weak tea. After about 3 months you’ll find you do not have it. But you can Google to find the right quantities of the sugarfree foods on the internet. There’s a tablet you can buy at the Pharmacy that has the kind of ACTVE bacteria that is called GOOD bacteria, and that should be incorporated with your diet. I have forgotten the name of it. But you can ask for it at the Pharmacy.

As a cause of chronic fatigue, it does not exist. Truly invasive infection with candida is only seen in seriously ill patients in the intensive care unit. Risk factors for this infection include the presence of IV catheters, IV nutrition (“TPN”), receipt of multiple antibiotics, and recent GI surgery. If you truly had invasive candida infection, you would have very high fevers and without aggressive treatment, you would be dead in a week or less.

The “candida syndrome”, popularized by a Dr. Crook in his book 20 years ago, is nothing but another snake oil scheme. Please believe me, unless you have a temperature of 104F, and are currently in the intensive care unit fighting for your life, you do not have invasive (systemic) candida infection. Candida is not the cause of vague symptoms like fatigue, mental fog, or depression.

Do not waste time and money taking nystatin, altering your diet to a “low yeast diet”, or taking other foolish advice. Any physician who has diagnosed you with “systemic candida” should be avoided. Please go to a good internist or infectious disease physician who can give you scientific and accurate information on what is really ailing you. I have seen many people made seriously ill by following the foolish advice offered by Dr. Crook.

For more information on the actual diseases that candida can cause, just go to:
You may want to check the entry “invasive candidiasis”.

The CDC’s web site is always a good place to start when you have a question on infectious diseases. It is the only place you will get accurate, scientific information without bias, and your tax dollars pay for it.
