Garlic Vaginal Yeast Infection?

Question: Garlic Vaginal Yeast Infection?

So I’m 17, and I’m nearly positive I have a yeast infection. I want to see a physician about it, but I can’t speak to my mother about scheduling an appointment, I just don’t feel comfortable. I think the cause for the infection is being on the Birth Control Pill, but I have to take it so that I can regulate my period and acne even though I’m not having sex yet. (But it’s still superior to be innocuous than sorry just in case!) But since I can’t go to a doctor, I’m turning to you guys.

I’m having many symptoms. I get really really itchy. When I’m out doing stuff I’m ok, but if I’m just sitting somewhere or laying in bed, it get’s to the point where I can’t focus on anything else. There is also a lot of white discharge. It’s not like normal. I used a handheld mirror to check and it’s absolutely a lot. I don’t really have too much burning sensation when I pee unless I’ve been itching.

So after reading and looking at google images, I’m just about positive it’s a yeast infection. But I’m afraid to go to the drug store to get over the counter medicine without a diagnosis so I was thinking about using the garlic method. Has anyone done it? How do I do it? Will it hurt? And if I don’t have a yeast infection, will it ruin me?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I was on antibiotics and they gave me a yeast infection and what I did was, chop two cloves of garlic up (minced) and place it on a plateau spoon and place honey on top. The honey really helps the taste and for the garlic to go down. I did it just once a day in the morning and YES it naturally gets rid of the yeast infection. After the first day, the itch was nearly gone :)

If you are going to the doctor for birth control, going to get a yeast infection fixed should be just as easy. It’s a natural thing that happens to a lot of girls and women. Anyone can get one, virgins/non virgins, healthy women/non healthy women. Anyone. So, my advice would be to go to the doctor. 2nd option would to go ahead and buy the OTC medication, but be sure to do the 7 day treatment as the single dose, and 3 day treatment have a tendency to not clear the infection completely. It definitely sounds like a yeast infection. I wouldn’t do a home remedy because honestly, they usually don’t work. Even if they do, it’s more of just “masking” the infection. It may help the symptoms, but may not necessarily rid the infection. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck with getting better!! Take care :)
