My daughter had one. It took two days with the cream. I put the cream on first then desitin creamy on the top. Cleared right up.

My son actually has had two!! The doctor said it was from him being on antibiotics…the first took a week and the second took 3 days to get rid of. I also put the cream on at every diaper change and topped it off with desitin all over….his pediatrician then told me that I should use desitin at every diaper change.

Since you say it’s a yeast diaper rash I’m going to assume you had your baby at the doctor. The reason I’m asking is that there are special creams for this type of diaper rash and you need to get them. It will clear up within a week but yeast infections take much longer to get rid of than you think and just because it isn’t showing doesn’t mean it has completely cleared up.
So, you need to do what you can to make sure it doesn’t continue. I don’t know how old they are but one thing that really helps is yogurt. The organic kind. About 1/4 cup a day. It will help it clear up faster and to keep it away continue feeding them yogurt. You can use the flavored kind but it has to be organic.

MY BABY HAD ONE AT 3 DAYS OLD , USE THE CREAM FOR 2 TO 3 WEEKS, THE RASH STARTS TO FADE AFTER AROUND 4 OR 5 DAYS, GOOD LUCK

It takes around 3 months to go away, and the creams do not do anything for it!!!
Baths, and keeping the area dry is best!!
    Hormones is the main cause!!

Best way to check if Hormonal, check for lumps under babies nipples. You should still consult a doctor, as doctors can say different things, and they can take a swab of the discharge and have it tested.
