My friend did that and it went away. Just use plain. It does work.

  2. ღ♫´`*♥Wine♥*´`♫ ღ says:

yeah. ur supposed to use PLAIN yogurt, though..

  3. gary 7 infiltrator - AM says:

NO!! Never put anything in your vagina like yogurt. That’s a really excellent way to introduce bacteria and other pathogens and cause worse problems.

People believe you should EAT yogurt to help with yeast infections, although there is no proof that this helps.

The only thing that will cure a yeast infection is a yeast infection medicine.

  4. djstorer07 says:

no you need to eat the yogurt.
    sugar free plain yogurt.

LOL ! I don’t think it helps you at all !! Which flavor were you thinking anyway ??

  6. Alfie333 says:

No! Go to your Drug Store and ask the Pharmacist to recommend something that will work for a yeast infection.

I am going to insert clo in a minute with sausage do you think she will get ‘Mad cows’ disease’..??

  8. steph19812006 says:

Several studies have suggested that one cup of yogurt a day (only the kind that has acidophilus bacteria) may reduce the frequency of vaginal yeast infections. Check the label for the statement “contains live cultures” or similar text. by eating it not by putting it in you but they do make creams for that but its not yogurt

  9. JR says:

Might help with the irritation, try it!

  10. me says:

This home remedy is for vaginal yeast infections.

    1. Go to the store and buy a small carton of “plain” yogurt — doesn’t matter whether it is name brand or store brand or is nonfat, lowfat or wholefat because you are NOT going to eat it. But make sure it is PLAIN with NO fruit, NO added sugar (milk sugar listed on the carton doesn’t count of course), and NO flavoring in it of ANY type. You should make sure that whatever type yogurt you buy has “ACTIVE CULTURES” listed on its container.

    2. While you’re at the store pick up a box of tampons to go with the yogurt.

    3. Pay for them. No one will look at you weird and no one will ask for any ID. ( this #3 is a humorous point only, so laugh …. but do pay!)

    Now you’re curious, aren’t you?

    But seriously now,

    4. Go home and take one of the tampons and dip it into the yogurt and insert it into the vagina, allowing it to stay in place for at least an hour or so — longer certainly won’t hurt you. It is COOL and SOOTHING for one thing and will get some of the “good bacteria” right where it is needed the most since that is the main reason to use it — to get the “GOOD” bacteria into where there is a build up of too much “bad” yeast type bacteria.

    5. Continue this for once or twice a day for two or three days, or as long as needed, until the situation resolves itself.

    6. Of course, REMEMBER TO KEEP THE CONTAINER OF “MEDICINAL” YOGURT SEPARATE FROM THE OTHER ONES IN YOUR FRIG THAT YOU MIGHT EAT (and of course throw out any leftovers).

gross. I have no idea. Just go buy some monistat.

  12. sprite says:

Um, I’m pretty sure that’s unsafe. But eating yogurt and drinking cranberry juice helps.

  13. Dog Rescuer says:

    Get to a doctor!!!!!

  14. robsy says:

ive heard of this…..its a home remedy.
you use a tampon to insert the yogurt inside and apparently its supposed to help ease your symptoms because of the cultures.
    try it, its natural right?
but i would go to the drugstore and buy a kit…its only about 10-15 bucks.

  15. Nikkismommy says:

You can do that. It is a natural remedy and it works. I recommend using something sterile to insert it, like a tampon. Check out the website below for ideas.

    Good Luck!

  16. SamSara says:

that is a popular household remedy, unfortunately, there is a reason why monistat was invented. the over the counter stuff is your best bet
