Anyone can get thrush. Go see your doc

  2. ANNA.ANNA.ANNA says:

i had a case of thrush in my mouth after surgery (taking my appendix out), and it sounds similar to what you have.
you should see a doctor, it is likely that your tongue has been infected with something, and that the “white coating” was a sign of your body trying to fight off the infectious bacteria.
it is also aggravated by anything acidic, so stick to simple foods and water for drinks. keep your fluids up before going to the doctors.

It might be that you could have canker sores. I know also if you eat to many sunflower seeds it might cause pain and sores. And as for the white film try brushing your tongue if you already don’t. If in this wont work go see a doctor could be a number of thing hun good luck.
