Question: Natural remedies for a yeast infection?
I believe I might have a yeast infection, I usually can feel them coming on and stop it with a tiny tea tree, which works wonders. This time I didn’t notice it coming. I don’t have an itch or burn, but I have some discharge that is white(though no chunky/cottage cheese like). Any recommendations other then a tampon with plain yogurt?

Thanks!

I know how you can never get it again. A nurse friend told me to eat yogurt often and I would never get yeast infection again. I thought she was a nut but I did it and I have not had a yeast infection in 8 years!

apple cider vinegar will also help with yeast infections. You can also buy acidophilus pills and take
them. Best to eat yogurt and cut out all sugary drinks and foods including pasta, bread and rice.

Well- every body is different, but you’re not alone in getting this condition. Much susceptibility to yeast infection comes from the body’s normal flora- the good/regular bacterias type and count and the normal pH level. If a woman is sensitive, she can be subject to reoccurring bouts of yeast infection. When any of these get bounced, it allows foreign bacteria a chance to gain hold and begin the infection building. Over “some” time, you body will probably start the correction process, but it usually is too uncomfortable just waiting on this to happen. that’s the white blood cell to white discharge stuff. A dose of antibiotics will clear out the infection, along with all the rest of your normal flora, and you will be bacterially depressed in all of your digestive system until you can start rebuilding with acidophilus, etc. The new probiotics are really good, but this all takes time.
So- what I might suggest, along the line of your tampon/yogurt treatment, is a poultice douche containing distilled water and calcium bentonite. this is the same, but more diluted for your application, as a product we offer for natural acne treatment. It is pH neutral and you can make up the treatment anywhere, anytime to have your own easy solution available. It is a natural solution and will take time to effect the cure, but you will notice relief of the symptoms immediately. We sell 1 pound of our c. bentonite powder on http://www.montanabentonite.com for $10 and $4.95 gets it to you anywhere in the continental US. Please do reply with further questions. kevinj@montanabentonite.com will work, too.

White discharge is normal during certain signs of your cycle and does not indicate a yeast infection.
If you dont have any itch or burn or cottage cheese “curdlike” discharge then in most probability it is just normal discharge and not an infection

    Hi,

For me Monistat 7 does wonders while tea tree tears me up.

Due to my own weakened skin and organ systems that have been unable to handle much poison since when I was a teen and could not use deodorants – I have learned to use hypo-allergenic non perfumed soaps and to sometimes powder different portions of my body with cornstarch.

Firstly, even though I might not answer your question precisely as you might have wanted, to help you with simple and concise information on ALL itch rash illnesses and for short and long term solutions to them ALL – the following link has considerable info within a ‘report’ I recently posted on Y_A:

I have accumulated a substantial background in investigating itch rash illnesses with my own non-alcoholic fatty liver disease even though I have a fairly low BMI of 26. Back when my malady was at its worst – I used to be allergic to my own sweat that I was burning off during exercise or after showering – during a time in my life when I used to have considerable toxins stored within my body fat.

I eventually learned that itching or rashes are symptoms of maladies that could become much worse if not healed with better non-toxic nutritional choices. So, since it took me ‘almost’ too long to understand what I am attempting to now teach others, I now take a little time each week to help others understand the need for non-toxic and ‘adequate’ micro-nutritional absorption in the gut and for good hygiene that will prevent or minimize every disease I am aware of.

Secondly, although I have seen that most root problems for ’skin’ issues for myself and others has usually ‘always’ been from long and or short term allergic reactions to ’something’ COMBINED WITH a weakened lymph liver kidney skin and immune systems – IF the following symptoms would ever occur – I ‘think’ the worst rash one might possibly have quickly acquired is from deadly bacterial meningitis, ALTHOUGH bacterial meningitis would be VERY RARE.

The two quotes below are from: <> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacterial_Meningitis <>

    <>
“IF a rash is present, it may indicate a particular cause of meningitis; for instance, meningitis caused by meningococcal bacteria may be accompanied by a characteristic rash.”
    <>

    <>
“The MOST common symptoms of meningitis are headache and neck stiffness associated with fever, confusion or altered consciousness, vomiting, and an inability to tolerate light (photophobia) or loud noises (phonophobia). SOMETIMES, especially in small children, only nonspecific symptoms may be present, such as irritability and drowsiness.”

I truly hope what you learn will help you to decide on the correct choices that will remedy your painful malady in the future.

Sounds normal, however you can help prevent candida yeast infections naturally with an herbal remedy.

A yeast infection is caused by a fungal overgrowth known as Candida. Candida is typically present in the body at all times, however many factors can create an imbalance leading to an overgrowth and yeast infection. An herbal candida remedy can help prevent yeast infection symptoms, without harmful side-effects associated with over-the-counter medications.

These precautionary measures will help to avoid and prevent yeast infection from recurring.

    * Eat a well-balanced diet, rich in vegetables, protein, and grain
    * Add acidophilis to your diet – yogurt and supplements can help
    * nclude an herbal candida remedy for yeast infection prevention
    * Avoid refined, processed foods and sugar – These cause yeast to grow faster
    * Avoid scented soaps, deodorants, talc, tampons, sanitary pads & toilet papers
    * Wipe from front to back
    * Change tampons and sanitary napkins frequently when menstruating
    * Wear cotton underwear
    * Wash and dry the vagina area thoroughly before getting dressed – moisture encourages yeast growth
    * Vaginal douches increase the risk of yeast infection
    * Avoid tight fitting pants
    * Avoid wearing underwear or pajama pants to bed and allow the vagina to be exposed to air
    * Avoid sex if painful or use a lubricating gel
    * Switch to non-hormonal contraceptives if medications such as birth control pills are causing recurrent yeast infections
    * Avoid unnecessary use of antibiotics, as they also cause yeast infections
    * When antibiotic use is unavoidable, combine antibiotics with probiotics for yeast infection prevention
