Not really, but it’s hard to really see it in the picture.

Get a clean, dry cloth and try to wipe it off…it could be milk residue as that can sometimes look like thrush. Thrush if very patchy looking, though, and snowy white…it doesn’t appear thrush-like in the pic you’ve provided.

However, even if it IS thrush, it’s nothing to freak out about! Just head to the docs as soon as you can for some meds that you paint over the mouth and it’ll clear up. If you’re BFing, make sure you have yourself treated, too, otherwise you could be in for a LOT of pain!

i don’t think so…it might be from the breast milk or formula which ever you use….to make sure take your baby to the doctors to double check. good luck

Doesn’t look like thrush to me. Does your baby seem to be in pain at all?

It’s hard to tell for sure from the picture. Is it on the roof or cheeks? Does it look like white patchy spot on the inside of the cheeks if so, probably is. I’ve been dealing with it for 4 weeks on my 6 month old. It can be very hard to get rid of.The good news unless the baby is uncomfortable it’s not as bad as it seems especially if they confirming good. A simple trip to the doctor will confirm it and they will probably prescribe nysatin for 2 weeks 4 times a day. Or over the counter you can do gentian violet dilute 1/4 gentian violet to 3/4 water apply with a q-tip to inside of cheeks and lips and tongue. You don’t want them to drink or swallow it just coat those areas. Do once a day for a week. I recommend at night right before bed. Warning the gentain violet may stain purple so wear old clothes, get a bib, and yes spit up will be purple and yes their lips and tongue, etc will stay purple for a while. If you are breast feeding have the baby nurse off both sides to kill the yeast on you so you don’t pass it back and forth. Also sanitize toys, pacifier etc every night. Good luck!
