Treating a yeast infection during pregnancy?

Question: Treating a yeast infection during pregnancy?
I had a yeast infection and did a store-brand 7-day treatment. Then my clinic called and stated i had a UTI and needed to take antibiotics. So i’m on Amoxicillin for 10 days. I had an appointment yesterday and the midwife asked if i had any discharge so i stated yes, there has been some discharge but not alot. And only minor itching occasionally. So she gave me a prescription for Gynazole cream, the 1-day treatment.

I’ve read lots of places that the 1-day treatment is not innocuous during pregnancy , is this true? Has anyone’s physician given them Gynazole for a yeast infection during pregnancy? I’m worried since it’s a “pregnancy category C medication”

any thoughts?

My doc told me to use a 1-day monostat treatment for a yeast infection. I did and had no problems.

I was given a “pregnancy category C” creme for my yeast infection. I had to use it 3 times a day for 3 or 4 days. My baby is absolutely fine.

Don’t you just hate those UTI and yeast infections? Ive taken the Amoxicillin for a 7 days. And I’ve taken 1 dose for yeast which worked but now I feel its coming back again so friday when i have my app we shall wait and see what they give me, but I am sure the dr knows what she is giving you. Did you make sure with her and did you ask if they have prescribed that before? Its one day treatment I wouldn’t think it would be bad. I would recommend to call your doc and just double check with them and tell them you just feel concern.
